Sitting at the base of the falls sat a white male, his eyes closed as he lessoned to the fast sound of the small females wings fluttering around like a humming bird. The female drank from the falling water from above, feeling like it was cleaner there. Her blue markings were watered down from the rushing fall, mixing them slightly with her pure white fur. Casanova looked at her brother, “do you think were even close by?” she asked softly, hoping that the rumored ‘frost pack’ wouldn’t be another land over.
These words broke off Lantern’s train of thought, he opened his white glazed eyes. He often was mistaken for being blind though, he got eye damage from the cold in winter. He could see fine but his eyes were just glazed now, his usual white color was still there though.
“I don’t know” He said smirking slightly.
Casanova sighed then fluttered to the ground and trotted a few yards away yet still in sight of Lantern. She knew that if she left him or even went out of sight, he would dig up the earth to find her.
Lantern closed his eyes for a moment again before finally deciding on what ay they should go.
“the next water source.” he ordered out loud, making sure she could hear. “we will slip past everything here and go there.” he added, as they had to slip past hunter traps and humans before. They never really knew were they could be. “so there then? We will stop there and rest right?” Cas asked, she had been worried about Lantern lately. She thought he should rest.
Finally they nodded and headed off.
