She nodded slightly, “I still don’t think they could stay mad at you. I mean even selfish reasons has some kind of good point to it, to either help someone of to gain something.” she started, “like you said, it was also to protect them, so it couldn’t have been as bad as you might think. I bet they just don’t get why you didn’t tell them.” Cas smiled slightly “No one could truly hate anyone, its not in there nature. Everybody has some instinct in them that tells them when something’s gone to far. I bet they’ll forgive you if you want it bad enough” She told him, holding her words truthfully. It was true, everyone has an enemy but don’t they also want a friend? At least that’s what she always told herself.
She breathed out, “really, its fine” she said not helping giving another smile his way.
She nodded quickly, standing up only to notice she was half his size. She almost laughed at this but held it back as much as she could. “my brother would love that, and your help would be great” she said, her words almost running together as she spoke.

Firepaw grinned softly, his tail swishing from side to side, "It's nice of you to try and understand." He paused for a moment as she went on, "I know hatred... It is possible." And as for forgiveness, he wasn't sure. Sesh had seemed like she hated him. He wasn't sure, to tell the truth, if forgiveness was possible. A grin spread across his face, stretching a little farther than the previous one had, "In that case, we should be made up in no time, hmm?" he chuckled quietly to himself, taking a small step closer to Cas.
"Well, all right then. I'll let the subject drop, then." he grinned back at her. Grinning was contagious, and with this stranger, he could forget about Sesh, forget about the issues that waited for him back at the pack. He didn't mind issues much, but Sesh was an issue. If she told about the tunnels, he was in trouble.
Firepaw glanced at her, noting how much larger than her he was with a small smile. She was a fairly pretty female, wasn't she? How had such a small, delicate looking creature made it this far out? "I would love to help, then. Shall we set off?"

Casanova smiled, it was hard not to when speaking to this male, he seemed to nice and such. She wasn’t sure why his friends would hate him for one bad thing he did. She pushed it to the furthest part of her mind.
“yeah, I’m some wolves, it is. But I don’t think anyone really knows the definition of it, it could mean that I wouldn’t want to see someone ever again to me, but to you it could mean that you would want to kill them. And then again, I don’t think it could last forever but doesn’t that one word have many sides to it? i kinda gets anonoying.” she replied without really thinking, though she said it quietly she kind of wanted to tell someone that, mostly to her brother whom she didn’t even think lessened to her words anymore, and now that she thought of it, she couldn’t remember but of what he said to her either. She found that ironic.
She then agreed to drop the subject about her parents, to her it wasn’t as big a deal as her brother thought it was. After all she only knew them for 5 months before they were killed. She shrugged and nodded, agreeing.
The colors around her seemed so dull in the rain, she noticed that her white fur was the brightest thing here at the moment, she smirked and looked at him. “yeah, I think hes over here anyway” she said padding off under the trees, not that far from the water.

Firepaw grinned softly, "Yes. Hatred has many different meanings, and I'm glad that someone understands that." he swished his tail from side to side as he started forward, taking a small step forth. "I like how you look at it, though." And he liked how she'd summarized what he considered hatred to be without seeming to think. Perhaps they would get along pretty well, after all.
And he couldn't think of a good reason why Moon would refuse to allow two hunters to join the pack if they were hunters and could get more food for the pack. They would need more hunters soon. Firepaw suspected that the casualties at the pack would be heavy.
But as for annoying, though, he wasn't sure. Maybe it was annoying to her, but he didn't think it was all that annoying. Maybe it was just because he lived with hatred more so than most wolves, or maybe it was because he had a different point of view than Casanova, but did it matter, really?
The silence stretched in the air like taffy, and the rain pattered against the earth with an occasional rumble of distant thunder in the air. He actually liked this weather, other than the rain, and he could live with the rain, anyways. Firepaw frowned as another idea occurred to him, "So, do you have any powers, Casanova?" her powers, if any, might affect how Moon looked on accepting her into the pack...
Firepaw stretched his legs and bounded quickly after, catching up easily with Casanova, a small smile on his face. "What's your brother like, anyways?" he asked curiously, "Mine's insufferable and thinks he's better than me."

Casanova breathed out happily, glad her random mini-speech wasn’t to much of a downer for him. In the dim light of the rainy day, her bright blue eyes looked up at him as he said the last few words, “What’s you’re view on it then. Firepaw?” She asked curiously wondering what he might think of the subject, hatred.
Bye now, the sandy dirt around the lake was mud and her paws weren’t the usual bright white color, now they were a dirty brown than covered up to her mid-leg. She moved her ears forward slightly, in a attempt to cover the rain from her eyes, its time like these that she wished she had longer wings to cover eyes from the rain. Unlike her small, flattened down by the rain, wings.
‘Powers?’ She thought, unsure what he meant at first when it hit her, the ice she could make, is that what he meant? “Yeah, I make ice” she smiled proudly, like it was a gift. “you know how some wolves can use fire and stuff? Well I use ice instead.” she notified him.
She looked at him as he ran after her, although she moved rather slowly. She hated her short legs. And as for her brother, she hide as much down wards things about him with another great thing. “Lantern, He doesn’t really have much good traits about him.” She thought for a moment, “He thinks things though, defiantly smart, though, he cant really fight. As far as I know. He really is basically better than me though. He’s taller, knows much more wolves, can create storms apposed to just making ice.” She said in her ringing voice. “though, that’s all I honestly know about him. He prefers not to speak to anyone not worth speaking to”
--------------------------------
Lantern waited under a tree, his sense of direction failing him completely. So he waited for his smaller sister to rescue him from the wonders of rain and the horrors of thoughts of what might have happened to his dear sister who could also be lost herself. He had to continue telling himself that she was fine and she wouldn’t have spoken to strangers or worse, other males. He shivered not wanting his twin involved with males right now. He started howling, longing for her presents and hopefully, her life.

Firepaw paused for a moment, musing the words over. "I think that hatred is in some wolves' blood, but not in others'. It depends on how you were raised and how you were treated as a pup, and other factors like that. And as for forgiveness, I'm not sure what to believe there." he shrugged, starting forward again, "It depends on a lot of things; the situation, the relationship between the two wolves, how they act around others, that kind of thing. There is no one answer."
The rain that pattered down was making him thoroughly miserable, and a quick glance at the female at his side assured him that it was making her miserable as well. Mulling this over for a moment or two, Firepaw spread his wings to shield her from the rain, "Sorry I didn't think about doing that before." Feeling strangely awkward around this white female, he left his wing suspended in the air so that the rain dripped from the tip of his feathers, hopefully not landing on her body at all.
He grinned, "I control fire, and ice is an interesting gift. I quite like it." Noting the pride in her voice, he smiled just a little bit wider. She was very innocent in the ways of the world, unlike Sesh - it was strange that he compared almost every female he met against her - and somehow, this made Firepaw want to protect her.
"As long as he thinks things through, and can hunt just a little bit, I imagine he will be welcome in our pack. If he's not attacking wolves because he's in a bad mood - if he is in one, anyways, I'm just projecting here - then he won't be perceived as a threat, and Moon will most likely welcome him and you." It was strange that Moon was Alpha now, instead of his father, but Firepaw didn't dwell on it for long.
At the sound of a how nearby, Firepaw swung his head, adjusting his direction slightly, "I think he's this way." he paused, "That was your bother, right?" Of course it was. There wouldn't be any other wolves out there at that moment. The humans would have caught them all.

Casanova looked at him, not sure if he was speaking his mind or if he was saying it aloud just as she did just moments ago. She looked at him frowning, thinking the subject was just as gloomy as it was before. She still had questions, like, was he still sad? “I don’t really know what forgiveness is, the way I see it, it depends on what the wolf thinks itself.” she thought closing her eyes for a moment, trying to pull as much words that lantern had told her out. “I still wonder why wolves have to forgive. Why cant everything just be the same as it was before things get worse?” she was now repeating what her brother had said. She thought he was just afraid of change, but at least he had a view on it, she didn’t even understand what it was.
She noticed when the rain stopped falling on her. She glanced up at him, his wing was over her. She smiled slightly, “its okay, I knew it would be raining today. I wasn’t expecting to stay dry” She said happy that she wasn’t getting wet anymore, though, some water droplets still fell to her tail. But she didn’t mind.
She looked at him, surprised that she actually used his power as an example by complete accident. “fire is cool to though” she looked forward idly, not really sure what he could do with it though, like, could he just make a flame or create a fearsome forest fire.
Casanova noticed him say a new name, “Moon? Who’s he?” she asked innocently, just like a pup would ask ‘when can we go out of the den?’ or ‘Are we there yet?’
The female saw him change coarse after she heard a familiar howl. She instantly followed him. “Yeah, I’m sure that’s him. He’s defiantly lost” she giggled slightly that her proud, tall, smart, twin brother. Was lost all alone. This made it seem like she was the smarter one for the moment.

Firepaw had a suspicion that she was parroting something that she had been told before, but he weighed his reply mentally all the same, "Forgiveness varies, just as hatred does. Each wolf's definition of each is different from the wolf next to him or her." he nodded his head, "But it doesn't matter what the wolf next to you's definition is, it matters what yours is." He paused for a moment, "And as for why it can't just go back to being normal is because everything changes. You can't back up any further, you can only go forward."
Firepaw nodded, "Just don't go dashing off anywhere, all right?" It was nothing but a common courtesy he would have offered to any wolf, wasn't it? Firepaw wasn't sure. The incident with Sesh had left him more shaken that it had first appeared, he realized with a slow exhale. He would have to make her see reason sooner or later, but for now, he would forget with this innocent white female who walked at his side.
"I enjoy controlling fire, though I suspect that that is because I have always controlled it. I could never see myself controlling ice, though..." Firepaw shrugged, his tail swishing from side to side, sending droplets of water flying in the air, though new droplets claimed that recently vacated space quickly.
Firepaw paused for a moment, frowning slightly, "Moon is the Alpha of the Frost Pack. He's the one who will decide whether or not you will be accepted into the pack, though I suspect he will accept you and your brother."
Firepaw snorted quietly to himself, even as a white wolf came into view. The male looked vaguely like Casanova, and Firepaw was seized with a sudden, guilty urge to pull his wing back from his companion, but decided against it, instead greeting the other male with a warm smile, "I'm Firepaw of the Frost Pack, and I hear that you and your sister would be interesting in joining my pack? I can guide you there." giving a welcoming smile, Firepaw gazed steadily at the male.

She opened her eyes to look at him, beginning to ignore everything other than what he said. She felt like she was hearing a story or being taught a lesson from what he said. But the part that got her attention the most was when he said that we can only go forward. She wanted to ask why they cant stay the same but the truth was something every wolf knew, that no one can stop time. She sighed, wishing things would just stay the same as before. It time had just moved slower, this male could be with his old friends, being happy. Other than just walking with her to find her brother.
She glanced back forward, finding that staring at him would make no difference than looking forward. “Now why would I run off Firepaw?” she asked her fur almost dry and back to its normal softness. She Wondered why he said that, if they couldn’t be accepted in the pack then they would leave anyway.
Casanova still wondered about it, and couldn’t help but ask about how he used it, she was just to curious not to. “Is it fun though?” she asked humbly looking at the male once more. “I mean, I’ve heard other’s say that it can create disasters if they go over board with it. But I think they over reacted”
“The alpha” she repeated then smiled, “so I’m guessing he’s nice like you are, right?” she asked, yet another question.
As they approached lantern Casanova smiled and ran from Firepaw and to lantern in an attempt to tackle him of even skid to a stop just in front of him to frighten him a bit but instead Lantern shot her a glare that made her skid early and almost fall over, she had a feeling she was in trouble. Lantern looked over at Firepaw. Once he heard the word ‘frost’ he had his attention on the other male. “That would be great if you could do so” He smiled slightly knowing that his anger was only focused on Casanova at the moment and had no need to be shunned on him. “I’m Lantern, me and Casanova are the last of the cloud pack, though we don’t consider us members anymore since there isn’t a pack left” He said, thinking Casanova told him her name but not his own.

Firepaw shrugged, "I don't understand wolves sometimes. It was just a warning." he smiled lazily, stretching his wings out further to shield her, the wind rustling his wingfeathers as he padded slowed to a stop before Lantern with a calm smile. His ears were pricked forward, and his eyes gleamed happily.
Firepaw smiled, "I consider it fun," he wasn't trying to insult Lantern by ignoring the other male, but Cas's question rang in his ears as he mused it over, "And I'm fairly sure I couldn't create a wide or large scale attack, but my fire can be pretty damaging on a smaller scale. It really depends on what you consider a disaster to be."
He grinned again, ears pricking forward as he glanced towards Lantern. It was nice of her to say that he was nice when she didn't even know him. Still, he wasn't going to argue about it. "I consider Moon to be all right. Not quite as great as my father, but good enough. He will not lead the pack into destruction, as far as I can tell. He's lost it all and come out the other side."
Firepaw met the male's eyes as he glared at his sister, eyes narrowing very slightly. 'Go on, keep threatening her...' his gaze seemed to say, if anyone could read it, but he kept himself calm and controlled, head lifted proudly, muscles stiff and prepared to leap to her defense, if she needed it. "Very well, then. I suspect that we will need your help, anyways." He let the other male go on with his introductions, nodding his head, "Cloud Pack..." he filed the name away for future reference, resolving to ask Sharra later what that pack was.
"Now, you wish to be guided back to the Frost Pack, do you?" he rose to his paws, reluctant to leave, but also reluctant to stay. The pack needed his help, and as much as he enjoyed the privacy of the forest and the waves lapping quietly against the shore, even if he could barely hear the latter. "Because I can lead you, and I know a shortcut from here, as well."

Cas smirked and nodded “yeah me either” she agreed slightly, looking at her brother whom wasn’t following what they spoke of. She smiled once again before sitting down.
“its great to see you like to create fire, I bet lots of wolves would give anything to have that power” she nodded, not carrying though on the destruction part of the conversation. She still wondered though, why he hadn’t used it when she found him at the lake, how could he know that she wouldn’t hurt him? She was happy though that he didn’t, she’s never fought in her life.
“Moon sound like a cool guy” she commented not going to the subject of Fire paws father. Though one thing caught her eye on what he had said, what did he lose?
Lantern was slightly happy that Casanova was alive, after all he had been waiting an half an hour, though he didn’t show how happy he was about it. He still didn’t feel like trusting this male yet, he could be lying for all he knew. He looked at him, making it look like he himself didn’t care were his sister was before with him but he ovestly (sp?) showed that he didn’t want him near his sister.
“that would be a great help, thank you” he said straight forward and got up, noticing he was slightly shorter than him but he knew if her stood straight he could be the same size. He looked to his sister whom stood next to him. Casanova didn’t feel like going anywhere but then again, it was better then staying lost in a forest or wandering around for hours. She was just glad she made friends with firepaw.

"I don't think anyone does understand them entirely." he examined Lantern, who really didn't appear to be following what they were saying, and Firepaw fancied that the other male looked rather annoyed, though he couldn't be sure, and he was probably imagining it entirely.
Firepaw shrugged, "Fire is rather overrated. It's hard to control, and even harder to create at times. It takes work to use fire, but, then again, all powers might be like that. I wouldn't know, considering I only control fire." he snorted to himself, flicking his tail as his ears pricked forward, eyes widening very slightly. He was having fun conversing, even finding himself capable of forgetting every once in a while that his pack needed him...
"I like Moon alright." Firepaw shrugged noncommittally, "He's not my favorite, but he's not my least favorite either, and, like I just said, he won't lead the pack astray." he flicked his ear lazily towards Lantern.
Firepaw met Lantern's gaze, eyes showing no hint of giving way. Whatever this male's issues were, Firepaw wasn't going to bear the brunt of them. He could take his issues out on anyone he wished, other than Firepaw. Firepaw wasn't going to be walked over like a door mat when he could easily take Lantern down and out, and then Lantern wouldn't be a bother at all. Honestly, some wolves were too crazy for him to understand.
Firepaw nodded, "Very well, then. Let's set off, shall we?" The tension grew thicker in the air with every breath he took, he fancied, tail flicking in the air as he started past Lantern and Casanova, headed back towards the pack.

((small post, had brian fart))
Lantern looked back at firepaw continually, finding he didn’t like this male that much, but as for Casanova, she smiled at him sweetly as if she had made a life long friend in under a hour. Lantern and Casanova seemed to have different views when they looked at this male, Casanova seemed glad they found someone like him to lead them to the pack, and lantern… he just seemed mad at him for being alone with his twin.
Casanova nodded, “Ice is hard to, it melts constantly so you always have to feed it more energy just to keep it from withering away” She smiled once more before Lantern cut in, “that’s why she wont use it” was his only words, he knew Casanova. She was so small that taking energy from her body would make her pass out or if she used more.. Die.
“sure Firepaw” Casanova agreed following behind along with Lantern

Firepaw surveyed Lantern, teeth pulling back from his fangs in the slightest hint of a snarl. He was not going to be judged this soon, especially when the pack needed any help it could get. He would take these wolves back to the pack, and they would help the pack, and, that way, Moon would not be able to deny them entrance. That was his plan, anyways, and Firepaw refused to admit to himself that there were any self-centered reasons behind this, such as wanting to be back, protecting the pack, and feeling like he was actually doing something. His claws sunk into the earth beneath him, and Firepaw shifted forward very slightly, before he shook the sudden bout of anger off. No fighting them, he scolded himself, they were allies. No matter how insufferable Lantern seemed, Lantern was still a pack ally.
"Interesting." his words were directed calmly at Lantern, not a sign in his voice or stance of his anger earlier. He would take his revenge upon this self-centered male soon, yes, he would. No one would judge him so quickly. Not even Sesh was allowed to do that, and Sesh was his closest friend. Was being the operative word, of course. He wasn't sure they'd ever be able to make up.
"Come on, then." he smiled in Casanova's direction, the smile twisting into a silent snarl as his head turned towards Lantern, before starting off. "It won't take us long to get back to the pack, and then..." Was it better to tell them that they would have to fight, or let that be a surprise.
It did not cross his mind that Sharra might have been lying to him, a sign of just how much he trusted the female who trained him.

Lantern didn’t like this male at all, he decided this the first time he saw the fur on his pelt. He was tempted to bite him or at least growl but when he looked at his sister smiling, he found it wouldn’t be the best idea in the world.
“whats so interesting?” he asked idly, wondering why his authority over his smaller twin was so wrong to this male. It wasn’t anything different from what he saw others do, there was always one wolf whom controlled the others, was he wrong or right about what he did? He glared idly at him.
Casanova padded over to firepaw, trying to show him that she was sorry for what her brother did. She smiled brightly. “you’re a good guy, you know that right?” she said, really meaning that she was trying to cover up what her brother was speaking, she was slightly embarrassed for having a judging brother.
