Personality: Shepard is basically a very angry wolf. Forged from the depths of hell, he was created to have a fierce unrivaled anger. When the bond between him and his master is ended, he starts gaining control of his emotions. He starts opening up to people, but only very few. He is not as angry anymore but still wary of anyone. Anyone he doesn't know has to prove themselves to be loyal before he trusts them. The longer he remains out of his domain, the more his personality mellows out. His is swiftly becoming more manageable.
History: Shepard was born into a pack full of wolves who controlled light, so when Shepard was born with control of dark, his mother was given an ultimatum, 'leave the pack, or the kid, your choice'. His mother, knowing she couldn't survive on her own, left him in their old den in the wild lands, promising she would come back for him. She never did, leaving Shepard to fend for himself for
the next 5 years of his life. In this time, Shepard taught himself to hunt and protect himself, often feeling very sad, afraid and lonely. He kept remembering the promise left as one of the only memories from his youth, but eventually, he gave up hope and closed his heart to everyone. He claimed his territory as his own and protected it fiercely, no longer resembling the child he once was, but had the demeanor of a cold hearted predator. It was in this state of mind that he found Leo, a light-controlling wolf, wandering in his territory. Shepard lunged at the wolf without a second thought and with night on his side, he won the fight. He had his mouth around the wolfs neck, but couldn't bring himself to finish her off, so he pulled her outside the wild lands and walked right back to his home. While he slept, he attempted to figure out why he couldn't end it.He eventually realized that he didn't understand it himself, so he walked over to her in the morning in followed her to the frost pack, Shepard feeling uneasy from talking to another wolf. When he arrived at the pack, he freaked out because of the sense of family he felt, and left silently. Leo had noticed that he left, and presently confronted him. In the ensuing argument, she had shouted out "Well what is wrong with you? It's like you don't know what being a Family is! What is wrong with you? Why can't you adjust?" This comment set Shepard off and a fight ensued, with Shepard ending up gravely injured. Leo healed him and Shepard set off on his own back to the wild lands, where he currently lives.
Appearance: Shepard is a very muscular pure black wolf. Due to his now powerful control over darkens, his pelt repels any light. Due to this, there is no reflection; there is only the color black. His eyes are a glowing pure red color, greatly contrasting his coat as his eyes give off light. His eyes remain red due to the fact that they were given to him when he was made and he cannot change them. Shepard has a myriad of scars all across his body, but none are visible.
