Denali arrives on the 14th, whenever I happen to have time to write up the intro. He, his human allies, and a pair of minor villains played by Knight and Matsi, will land by helicopter in the loner territories in three groups, 1 group per board.
This is our major plot for this month, and the rules are slightly modified because of it. First, this plot is dangerous There is a very high chance that several wolves will die. There is also a possibility that EVERYONE will die, and the pack be utterly destroyed. Second, all threads are now marked as 'open' and can and will be entered by Denali and his allies. Finally, liquid time may NOT be used under any circumstances whatsoever until this plot is concluded.
After landing in the loner areas, the human forces will proceed to enter all active boards and attack the wolves there. The wolves have the option of fighting or fleeing. If they run, they must run into Frost Pack or Cave Pack territories - you cannot have your characters flee to an area for which we do not have a board for. Also, circumstances may prevent characters from escaping. The humans initially will use tranqs; eventually they will use bullets. If you want your wolf to survive, but he/she cannot escape, it is recommended you allow them to be hit with tranqs. Even so, their survival is not guaranteed.
Denali will remain in the loner territories for approximately 2 days, real time. During that time, ALL characters who are not a member of a pack must be posted at least once. If they are in loner territories, they will be attacked. If not, they still run the risk of being attacked by wolves defending the packs' territories. Any characters who are NOT posted are assumed to have been captured without a fight and are unconscious and unable to be played until the plot concludes. Denali will proceed to move into pack territory.
Note: Even though godmoding is against the rules, Denali possesses a considerable advantage over the other wolves and it is very unlikely he can be defeated by a single wolf. This is not because he is super-powerful or because I'm breaking the rules; it's simply an accurate reflection of the fact that he was a large quantity of human allies to help him in fights, and no single wolf can deal with all the humans and fight him at the same time.
