His silver eyes look from the cliffs onto the now green and bursting with life land of the frost pack. He let out a heavy sigh as he stood up from his sitting position. His golden pelt shimmered with health and now complete maturaty.
''Home...atlast,'' SunFire said as he took a deep breath of the familiar air. How he missed his family, but he needed to do what he had done.
He looked back at a den that he had dug out the night before for shelter and comfortable sleep.
He walked over to the den and stuck his head in.
''Come on honey, we need to go,'' He said with a soft and encouraging voice.
''We are almost there,'' His voice was almost identical to Shadow's voice now, but he was now larger in both height and bulk than both of his parents.
''Dont make me come in there,'' Sunny growled with a loving laugh as he poked the furry mass that was in the den.

Call grumbled to herself as Sunny prodded her side. "Can't you see that I don't want to wake up?" she snapped grumpily, rolling over so that he'd bear the full weight of her cold gaze.
She hefted herself to her feet, rubbing along her father's legs in a cat-like manner. For a moment, Call let herself imagine that it was before here mother had been killed, and that she could love without remorse, but it was tamped down quickly as Call ducked under Sunny and out into the sun-dappled world.
She yawned widely as pranced past Sunny, "Now that I'm up, are we going to go see the Frost Pack?" she'd heard stories about it since she was a tiny pup, the pack that her father had originated from, with his sister and brother and mother and father.
At least he had siblings. Call was all alone in the world.
But that didn't hold her back! She swished tail exuberantly, prancing away.

Sunny laughed at his daughter with soft gleaming eyes. ''I am going to get you something to eat first. I want you to stay here, and dont leave,'' He said with a strong voice. He glared at her with her ''father'' look that he had learned from Shadow and then nodded and trotted off. ''Howl if you need me, Honey,'' He said. He was going to be close enough to hear her puppy howl...
Shy had been walking forever. He was very proud of himself to have found a trail that led up the cliffs. The sound of a voice made him stop though and peer around. He spotted a large gold male and a pup around his age. He waited until the male was gone and walked forward slowly towards the pup.

Call rolled her eyes as Sunny stalked off, "Idiot. I'm not going to need him. I'm perfectly happy on my own, and I wish he'd realize it, that over protective ninny." she glowered at the ground, chaos fire sparking at her paws as she settled back on her haunches, watching the stranger approach.
She didn't look at all surprised, in fact, she looked half as if she'd expected him, though she hadn't. Still, Call wasn't in the least scared. Nothing could hurt her anymore, she was nothing but an ice sculpture with a working heart.
"Hello." her voice was cold and clipped, as if she intended to scare him off before he even began to speak.

Shy's nose wrinkled up.
''Your a frost Pack,'' He said with surprise. ''You dont look like a miserable mutt,'' He said, saying what his mother has told him frost pack was.
''You look like one of us, your not different,'' He said, almost amazed. He couldnt believe it as he got closer to her. He stood only a slight bit taller than Call.

"Miserable mutt? How silly. I'm no mutt, I'm pure bred wolf, daughter of Sunfire and Kara. The name's Call, anyways, and I take it you are from the Cave Pack. I always heard that the Cave Pack members were miserable mutts." Call laughed cheerfully, "But it would be silly if I believed everything I was told. I only believed one thing I was told, and I don't think I need to go into detail about that. It's a long story."
"Of course I do. I'm a wolf. Duh." Call rolled her eyes.

Shy laughed happily and bounded up to Call.
''Im Shy, son of Mika and Shawn, brother of Ghost. And yes, im cave pack...and no i too am not a mutt,'' He laughed happily some more. He already liked Call. His puppy tail wagged slowly with growing excitement. His claws were curled up, away from the ground as far as he could get them as he jumped into a play bow with a small snarl and wagging tail.

Call snorted, "Ew. Ghost? Who the heck named him Ghost? I feel bad for him. My name, Callan, is the best. It means female warrior, did you know that?" she grinned, "But Shy is an interesting name. Makes you seem more timid, though. Perhaps you should live up to your name more often." she shrugged idly.
Awkwardly, a little un-used to pup play, Call dipped herself into a bow as well, her eyes widening slightly so that the wound on her right eye stung.

Shy said nothing about the name comment, but he bounced to the side, growling and tail wagging as he did so.
''Do you not play fight?'' He asked her, standing up and tilting his head to the side in a confused fashion. He could sense the awkwardness from her as she did her own bow.

Call laughed to herself, "Considering the lack of pups in my pack in the spring, yeah. Besides which, not very members of such a pack found love. They normally managed to kill each other first - very well trained in the arts of fighting. I've picked up most of it from them. 'Snot so bad." she shrugged, "But playfighting? Why would anyone do that?"

Shy shrugged. ''Mother says it prepares one for battles, but its fun to just play fight,'' He said as he stood up again. His attention was soon grabbed by a butterfly. He pranced after it, yipping. ''Come on,'' He said as he chaised it in circles.

Call's eyes widened, but she pranced after him, glad to leave Sunny. She was getting tired of his over-protective mannerisms, and was glad to finally be able to ditch him, even if she was following a Cave Pack member. Her father always said that they could not be trusted, but Call did not want to listen to her father anymore. She was tired of this hiding and running - ever since her mother's death, she'd grown careless.
Nothing could hurt her that much. Besides which, Shy didn't appear to be all that smart.

Shy soon lost sight of the butterfly, for it flew high into a tree. He sighed and then turned and with a playful snarl, pounced on the approching Call. He lightly bit her scruff, snaraling as he did so, but he was careful to keep his claws away from sensitive parts of her.

Something had jumped on her. Call snarled furiously as she felt fangs sink into her scruff, and she flailed vigorously, attempting to loosen his hold on her - not that it seemed to be working. She didn't like having something on her back. It was dangerous. And it infuriated her. Call snarled once more.
And then... "Shy?" she queried, falling silent and still. If it was Shy, she couldn't kill him. Her father would be annoyed about that, for sure, and she did not really want to go there. He was her father, after all, even if he was an over bearing idiot.

Shy's maw releases Call, but he still kept his weight on her.
''Yes?'' He asked through soft laughs of amusement. He was quite...intrieauged on how she really didnt seem to know how to play fight.
